First Sip.

Assalamu'alaikum and hi :)

Okay, so this blog post was not literally written over a steaming cup of tea at a sun-drenched cafe somewhere in the suburbs. I just thought the name sounded cool :p

First things first, harapnya you don't mind rojak.

Why blog? 
Sejak kecik lagi I've always loved writing. Tak kisahlah article ke, cerpen ke, poems ke, even comics sikit (technically that's drawing but still). The problem is, bila kita tulis these stuff, risk nak hilang tu tinggi. Kalau tulis atas kertas, memang ke laut lah. Kalau dalam buku, buku hilang. Kalau type sekali pun, file tu boleh hilang dimamah virus. So basically this blog is like a scrapbook to keep my memories safe.

Why tea?
Hari tu tengok this JinnyboyTV video called Conversations over Coffee. Lepas tu rasa macam eh coolnya nama ni! So I thought of naming this blog Conversations over Lattes, because I was crazy over lattes masa tu, eventhough pernah minum sekali je. Then my dear friend yang bertanggungjawab making me actually buat blog ni cadangkan guna perkataan 'thoughts'. So the title 'Thoughts over Tea' suddenly popped up in my mind, and I thought why not? I mean, I love tea anyway. Hence, the title.  

This blog would be about my views and opinions, maybe some poems and stories. Bila cakap opinions, they may differ from what you think. But that's alright, because bak kata Matluthfi, "Different opinions don't kill, fanaticism does." Tak bermaksud you have to accept whatever I say, or vice versa. Maybe the faults are in my thoughts, maybe they're in yours. Or maybe there are no faults at all. The only way to find out is by opening conversations and discussions.

Tak bermaksud di sini tempat berdebat tepuk-tepuk meja. Just a place to share my thoughts over tea :)
